3. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you interact with our website, you may voluntarily provide:

  • Name and email address — when you submit a download request for free resources (scripts, frameworks, action plans)
  • Name, email, and review content — when you submit a book review
  • Name, email, and comment content — when you leave a comment on an article

Information Collected Automatically

We use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service, which collects:

  • Pages visited and referral sources

Fathom Analytics does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not collect personally identifiable information. All data is anonymized and aggregated.

Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Payment or financial data — all book purchases happen on Amazon and other third-party retailers. We never process, store, or have access to your payment information.
  • Sensitive personal data — we do not collect data about race, ethnicity, religion, health, sexual orientation, or political opinions.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Service delivery — to provide you with the free resources you requested
  • Download access — to generate secure, time-limited download links sent to your email
  • Communication — to respond to inquiries submitted through our contact channels
  • Content moderation — to review and publish submitted book reviews and article comments
  • Site improvement — to understand how visitors use our website and improve the experience
  • Fraud prevention — to detect and prevent abuse of our download and review systems through rate limiting

We do NOT sell your personal information. We do NOT use your data for advertising. We do NOT build marketing profiles about you.

5. Analytics (Fathom Analytics)

We use Fathom Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Fathom is a privacy-first analytics provider that is fully compliant with:

Key facts about our analytics:

  • Fathom does not use cookies

  • Data is processed within the EU for EU visitors

7. Cookies

We do NOT use tracking cookies on this website.

  • No third-party tracking cookies — we do not embed any third-party tracking scripts, advertising pixels, or social media trackers

Because we do not use cookies for tracking, no cookie consent banner is required under GDPR, ePrivacy, or PECR.

8. Data Sharing

We share your data only with the following service providers, strictly for the purposes described:

  • Supabase — our database and storage provider. Supabase processes data under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and supports EU data residency. Your name, email, reviews, and comments are stored securely in our Supabase database.
  • Fathom Analytics — our analytics provider. Fathom only receives anonymized, aggregated data. No personally identifiable information is shared.

We do NOT share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties for marketing purposes.

We take care to ensure your data is processed in compliance with applicable data protection laws:

  • Supabase — processes EU data within the European Union
  • Fathom Analytics — processes EU visitor data within the European Union, in compliance with GDPR

Where data transfers outside the EEA are necessary, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or adequacy decisions.
